Convicted Marshall County triple murderer denied appeal

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ala. (WAFF) - A convicted Marshall County triple murderer has been denied an appeal by the Alabama State Supreme Court.
Jimmy O’Neal Spencer was convicted back in 2022 for the murders of Marie Martin, her 7-year-old great-grandson Colton Lee, and neighbor Martha Reliford.
The case caught widespread attention due to Spencer’s violent criminal history.
He had been released from prison just weeks before the murders.
He will remain behind bars.
