Former Cold Springs High School basketball coach charged with multiple sex crimes involving student

A former high school basketball coach in Cullman County was arrested and charged with multiple sex crimes involving a student on Tuesday.

CULLMAN, Ala. (WAFF) - A former high school basketball coach in Cullman County was arrested and charged with multiple sex crimes involving a student on Tuesday.

According to the Cullman County Sheriff’s Office, 35-year-old Paige Parker Adams, former girls’ basketball coach at Cold Springs High, was charged with:

  • Sex Offense / School employee engaging in sex act or deviant sexual intercourse with a student
  • School employee having sexual contact with a student under the age of 19
  • School Employee distributing obscene material to a student (30 counts).

Adams resigned from her position on Wednesday, March 25, after school leaders were presented with a complaint.
