Clearview Cancer Institute breaks ground on new facility in Decatur

DECATUR, Ala. (WAFF) - Clearview Cancer Institute broke ground on its new location in Decatur on Wednesday.

Officials said the new site will feature advanced technology, on-site lab and imaging services, and comprehensive treatment options.

The new facility will combine Clearview’s two Decatur locations into one.

“Our patients are at the heart of everything we do,” said Gary Walton, CEO of Clearview Cancer Institute. “By building in Decatur and combining our two current sites, we are ensuring that more people have access to the highest level of cancer care without the burden of traveling long distances. This is about bringing hope, comfort, and world-class treatment to our neighbors.”

The new facility will be located at 1626 6th Ave. in Decatur.
