Attorneys reach settlement in civil case against former Decatur doctor

DECATUR, Ala. (WAFF) - Attorneys reached a settlement in the civil case against a former Decatur doctor accused of groping patients.

Earlier this year, Dr. Michael Dick was cleared of criminal charges. But the civil lawsuit from the allegations was just resolved recently.

Attorney Eric Artrip told WAFF that the 29 women who came forward with these allegations will receive a portion of the undisclosed settlement agreement.

Dr. Dick is fighting to regain his medical license.
