Musicians prepare to take the stage at the 3rd annual Belle Mont Celtic Festival

TUSCUMBIA, Ala. (WAFF) - Beginning on Friday, the celtic festival at the Belle Mont Mansion is back in town for its third straight year.

As the Shoals prepare for the big event, 48 Now spoke with musicians Jill Chambless and Scooter Muse, who will, as a unit, take the festival stage on Saturday.

Both are heavily active in the Celtic scene, Chambless is a vocalist, flutist and whistler and Muse is a guitarist/vocalist.

Performers at the festival include Steel City Rovers, Piper Jones Band, Alabama Pipes and Drums, and, of course, Chambless & Muse.

Museum Day, which is completely free of charge, is set for Friday from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. and Saturday’s festival and activities will take place from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
