Morgan Co. man pleads guilty to taping child undressing

BIRMINGHAM , AL (WAFF) - A Morgan County man pleaded guilty in federal court to sexual exploitation of a child on Wednesday.

Police say 35-year-old Dusty Ray Wilhoite videotaped a 13-year-old girl undressing and stepping into a shower.

According to Wilhoite's plea agreement he produced the video in 2011.

The child's mother says she found the camera memory card with the images in 2013 and turned them over to law enforcement.

The maximum penalty for sexual exploitation of a child is 30 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
