It will be warm and humid again today with highs around 90° for much of the area and middle 80s for northeast Alabama and southern TN. Much like yesterday, a few spotty showers and embedded thunderstorms are possible throughout the day, mainly east of I-65.
Wednesday promises more of the same, but a bit more sunshine to start the day with a few isolated afternoon thunderstorms. A better chance for storms and rain will arrive, area wide, on Wednesday night and Thursday ahead of a weak cold front.
Storm chances will drop on Friday and Saturday but pick back up for the new week ahead of another cold front. There are signs of another significant cool down for the early and middle part of next week.
