Marshall Co. man pleads guilty to child porn possession

MARSHALL COUNTY, AL (WAFF) - A Marshall County man has pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography.
Andrew Byrd, 26, entered his plea before a Marshall County judge Monday afternoon.
Byrd now faces up to seven years when sentenced.
Prosecutors said he was arrested in July 2015 after an internet crimes against children group discovered someone was downloading images of child pornography at a home in Gr ant.
A search of Byrd's computer uncovered multiple images.
Byrd is applying for probation and will be sentenced July 11.
