Morgan Co. jury reaches guilty verdict in murder trial

MORGAN COUNTY, AL (WAFF) - A Morgan County man is likely headed to prison after being convicted of murder Thursday.
It took the jury in Decatur just over three hours to find Cody Lee Compton guilty.
Compton was convicted for the shooting death of Jonathan Bowling last year.
He'll be sentenced on May 5.
