Man accused of killing father pleads not guilty

COLBERT COUNTY, AL (WAFF) - A Sheffield man charged with his father's murder pleaded not guilty in court.
George Morris III entered a not guilty plea by reason of mental illness or defect.
Morris is accused of stabbing and killing his father last September.
Investigators say Morris then stole a car at knifepoint from a woman who showed up to check on his father.
