Overnight wreck leaves man in critical condition

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

An overnight single-car wreck left a man fighting for his life in the hospital.

It happened around 1:30am Saturday on Bob Wade Lane in Huntsville near Northgate Drive.

Police said the car left the roadway when the driver, Logan Brannon, took a curve and hit a utility pole.

Emergency workers had to extract Brannon from the car. He was transported to the hospital by HEMSI with life-threatening injuries and is in critical condition.

The wreck is under investigation.
