(CNN) - A semitruck spill left a roadway drenched in none other than Frank’s RedHot sauce.
Amid a brutal near-nationwide heat wave, it seems strangely appropriate that the spill scene on an Ohio highway has been labeled “red hot.”
According to the BST&G Fire District, a semitruck leaked a strange, reddish liquid on a highway near Columbus.
Authorities determine it was the signature hot sauce, Frank’s RedHot, leaking from a nearly 40,000-pound shipment.
According to the Columbus Dispatch, responding officials with the state’s environmental protection agency still had to work quickly to keep the spilled sauce, which is acidic, out of drains.
