More than a dozen students were honored Thursday for creating awareness PSAs.
The students entered "The Greatest Save" video competition.
Students had to create a 30-second video that raises awareness about bullying, date rape, internet risks and other safety issues.
Lee High School took home first place.
"It took a lot of hard work and time, trying to mess with the effects and get everything right, but I think it was great it taught us a lot about safety,” said Lee High 11th grader, Jeremiah King.
Those students also earned a $500 check for their school.
The winning PSAs will be shown around other schools and online.
