HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Police responded to a stabbing around 8:30 p.m. Saturday in Huntsville.

The victim told Huntsville police that he had been in altercations with an acquaintance known as "Rashawn" in the past. The victim said when he was with Rashawn's mother on the 3000 block of Brookview Drive, the suspect got a knife from the kitchen and stabbed him in the back of his left arm.

An investigator responded to Huntsville Hospital to interview the victim, who did not want to press charges. The victim's injuries were not life-threatening.

No one has been arrested yet. This investigation is ongoing.
