HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
Huntsville Police responded to a head-on collision on University Drive at Henderson Road around 2 a.m. Tuesday.
A Kia and Jeep Liberty were involved in the crash.
A woman riding in the Kia was trapped inside for about 10 minutes until first responders got her out.
HEMSI took the woman and another person with minor injuries to Huntsville Hospital. Police have not released her name.
Police blocked the westbound lanes of University Drive for about two hours while they cleared the wreck.
