HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
Huntsville Police are searching for the vehicle that hit a pedestrian Thursday night and left the scene.
Police said 25-year-old Brad Leland Hill of Huntsville was hit by a car around 10 p.m. on Slaughter Road at Highway 20.
The vehicle left the scene and investigators are looking for leads in the case.
Hill sustained life threatening injuries and was taken to Huntsville Hospital.
Investigators found a passenger side mirror assembly and part of the bumper near the scene. They are looking for a 2001-2006 BMW 325i sedan, silver colored. The vehicle will have some damage on the front and a missing passenger side mirror.
Hill is listed in stable but critical condition in the NICU at Huntsville Hospital. The investigation is ongoing.
