It has been almost four months since a deadly and destructive tornado hit Jackson County.
Dozens of homes were destroyed and dozens of lives were changed.
The damage was very extensive in Rosalie, but one family is about to get a new home.
Sunday afternoon, K.C Construction workers are building a home for the Miller family.
The family didn't have insurance and they lost everything.
"It was awful it was the worse thing that happened to us," says Francis Miller.
"You know it's not only us it's the whole community it's affecting, but if it weren't for the friends and stuff and people doing, we probably would be just sitting there thinking about what we are going to do," says Charles Miller.
Seventy five percent of the material used to build the home was donated from friends and construction companies.
Harold Morgan of K.C. Construction has helped with the rebuilding process.
"It's just a blessing to be able to help somebody like this, I don't look for any self gain out of it, I'm just proud to get to do it for them," he said.
Charles and Francis miller wants to thank their friends, family, and the community for their support and help.
The community center, they were out here since day one bringing us blankets, food, anything we needed and I just can't say enough," Frances Miller said.
