Huntsville City Council Candidates' Forum is Thursday

(WAFF) - Huntsville voters are invited to attend a Huntsville City Council Candidates' Forum on Thursday, August 16, 6 to 8 pm at the Huntsville Madison County Public Library Main Auditorium, 915 Monroe St., Huntsville, AL 35801.

Multiple candidates from each of the Council seats up for election will participate in the forum.  Districts 2, 3 and 4 candidates will introduce themselves and answer questions.

A full house is expected, which will create interesting visuals.

The municipal election will be held on Tuesday, August 28.  Normal polling places will be open from 7 am to 7 pm.

The Forum is sponsored by three distinct, local, non-partisan organizations:  American Association of University Women, The League of Women Voters and United Women of Color.
