Henagar woman facing multiple charges after car chase ends in Georgia
FORT PAYNE, AL (WAFF) - A Henagar woman is facing multiple charges in Fort Payne and Georgia following a car chase.
The Fort Payne Police Department says that Lora Leeanne Wooten, 35, of Henagar, is facing charges that stem from her reportedly stealing an air compressor on August 7.
Police say that burglary resulted in a chase that ended in Trenton, Georgia where an officer was critically injured.
Bradford's charges in Fort Payne include burglary, five counts of attempted assault on a police officer, attempt to elude law enforcement, tampering with evidence, criminal littering, and reckless endangerment. She also faces several charges in Georgia.
