TUSCUMBIA, AL (WAFF) - A woman has been reported missing in Tuscumbia.

Tammy Cooper has not been seen since July 31, and her family is worried about her well being.

Cooper is around 5 feet tall and 80-100 pounds. She also goes by the name Tammy Benson.

Police say she is at the end of a drug addiction and has felony warrants out of Lauderdale County for bad checks to a meat market in Florence and to her son.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Tuscumbia Police Department.

"She's got herself into some issues but she is still a mother, a daughter, a sister, a wife and a friend to a lot of people who are very concerned about her. We would like to ask anyone in the Tennessee Valley if you see her or know of where she is to call the Tuscumbia Police Department," said her husband, William Cooper. "I've lived in Colbert County my entire life and I know the citizens here are wonderful people please help us. I know you are there your great neighbors you always have been please help us find my wife."
