Woman in critical condition after hitting boat prop on Lake Guntersville

MARSHALL COUNTY, AL (WAFF) - A 58-year-old woman from Amory, Mississippi is in critical condition after a boating accident on Lake Guntersville Monday afternoon.
It happened near Short Creek shortly after 3:30 p.m. She was transported to Huntsville Hospital's trauma center for surgery.
Marine patrol troopers said she was being towed behind a 20-foot pontoon when the tow line got entangled in the prop. The severe entanglement cast her into the prop.
