GUNTERSVILLE, AL (WAFF) - Guntersville police are working to figure out what lead to a woman being shot in the neck.
At this point in time, Guntersville police are continuing their interviews and no arrests have been made.
It happened around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday on Ligon Street between Carlisle Avenue and Williamson Street.
Police say a man and woman got into an argument, and at some point they say the man shot the woman in the neck.
She was taken to the hospital.
Investigators believe other weapons were involved.
Police say the woman initially didn't cooperative with investigators.
Police say they are continuing to work to find other witnesses.
The name of suspected shooter isn't being released at this time.
The woman's condition is unknown.
