ATHENS, AL (WAFF) - Authorities are searching for an escaped inmate.
Gregory Devonta Ivey, 26, left his assigned job location in Athens at about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday. Anyone with any information on his whereabouts should contact local law enforcement or call the Alabama Department of Corrections at 1-800-831-8825.
Ivey is 5 feet 5 inches tall and 140 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, white painter pants, a red cap and black or blue shoes.
He is serving time on a robbery conviction.
