(WAFF) - A few showers could linger overnight with low temperatures falling near 70 degrees.
Tuesday will be significantly cooler with high temperatures struggling to get to 80 degrees under mostly cloudy skies. Rain showers and thunderstorms will be numerous to widespread on Tuesday afternoon and evening. These storms are not expected to be severe but could produce locally heavy rainfall.
Rain showers will continue through Wednesday with high temperatures bouncing back into the middle 80s.
Thursday and Friday will have similar temperatures and chances for scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.
The weekend looks to be a little warmer with more chances for isolated rain showers. This brief "cool-down" will not be long lived though as high temperatures will return to the 90s soon.
