Ford recalling over 500,000 vehicles due to gearshift problem

(WAFF) - If you own a Ford car or SUV, there's a recall you need to know about.
The automaker is recalling nearly 550,000 cars and SUV's in North America to fix a gearshift problem. The issue can cause some vehicles to roll away unexpectedly.
The recall involves Ford Fusion sedans from 2013 through 2016 and Ford Escapes from 2013 through 2014.
So far, there have been no crashes or injuries linked to the problem.
