HARTSELLE, AL (WAFF) - Hartselle's finest will be spreading some knowledge to the city's youth.
A youth police academy is happening at the Civic Center.
Area kids will get a better idea of what really goes on behind the scenes at the police department.
Children ages 5 to 12 will be able to hop in a patrol car and learn about other exciting police procedures.
The academy is from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m.
