Authorities seeking work release inmate

TUSCUMBIA, AL (WAFF) - Authorities are searching for a Decatur work release inmate who walked away from his job site in Tuscumbia according to our news partner, the Times Daily.

The Alabama Department of Corrections said Tobby Randall Blackstock, 40, is 5 feet, 10 inches tall, 160 pounds, with strawberry blond hair and brown eyes.

He has tattoos on both arms and was wearing black shoes, dark blue jeans and a blue T-shirt. According to DOC, he walked away from his assigned job location at 5:35 p.m. Friday.

Blackstock was sentenced to 36 months for third-degree burglary out of Colbert County and was assigned to the North Alabama Community Based Facility in Decatur.
