Pedestrian struck by vehicle in north Huntsville

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) - A man was hit by a vehicle in Huntsville on Friday.
Huntsville Police say that the man was outside of his vehicle in his driveway on Winchester Road at 5 p.m., trying to push his vehicle to a different spot because it was out of gas.
The vehicle then rolled downhill on top of him. Almost at the same time, a van sideswiped the back bumper of the vehicle and stopped.
The man was transferred to Huntsville Hospital in critical condition. His current condition has not yet been released.
Police are still working to gather information on this incident.
