TENNESSEE VALLEY (WAFF) - Cities across North Alabama will celebrate the 4th of July with festivals and fireworks. Click and read below for a look at a few major firework shows across our area.

Smith Lake Park Fireworks Festival - Cullman
This festival featuring arts, crafts, food, and fireworks begins at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, July 4 and ends at 9:30 p.m.
The address for the event is 403 County Road 386, Cullman, AL 35057

Heritage Park Firework Show - Cullman
This free firework show will begin at 9 p.m. on Wednesday, July 4. 

Spirit of America Park Festival - Decatur

There will be food, drinks, crafty vendors, and fireworks at Point Mallard. This event is free and begins at 8:45 p.m.

Fireworks! At Space and Rocket Center - Huntsville
This free event begins at 9 p.m. on July 4 at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center. The center will also be offering free admission during regular museum hours, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on July 4th for children ages 12 and under.

Stars and Stripes Forever at Dublin Park - Madison
A celebration at Dublin Park in Madison will be fun for the family. Children and adults can enjoy games and activities including an obstacle course and a water slide.  The event will run from 2 p.m. to 12 a.m. on July 4. 

Village of Providence 4th of July Celebration - Huntsville

Concert with the U.S. Army Materiel Command Band begins at 7:00 p.m. Fireworks begin after dark.

Spirit of Freedom in McFarland Park - Florence
Florence will hold its 4th of July celebration at McFarland Park. The event begins at 5:00 p.m. with fireworks to end the event. 

Guntersville Fireworks Celebration - Guntersville
The city of Guntersville will put on a show on July 4 at Civitan Park. The fireworks start at 9:00p.m. You are not allowed to park or stop on the River Bridge.

Athens Firework Show - Athens
A show above the Athens High School stadium will be filled with fireworks after sundown. There is no seating in the stadium. Parking is adjacent to the businesses along Highway 31. This event starts at 8:00 p.m.

Potato Festival - Sand Mountain
Celebrate local heritage at this festival full of live music, arts, entertainment, games and potatoes! The 36th Annual Sand Mountain Potato Festival starts at 10 a.m. with a beautiful fireworks display later that night. Location in downtown Henagar Town Park.

4th of July Jam on Sloss Lake

This event will feature multiple musical acts throughout the day. The event begins at 7 a.m. with a Fireworks Show set to take place at 9:40 a.m.
