HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) - The Madison County Farmer's Market has officially opened for the 2018 season. This Saturday, June 9 at 10:00am will be a Grand Opening Celebration!
This year the market is open every Wednesday thru Saturday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
This market is unique because all produce and products are homemade and homegrown. Everything sold at the market is locally produced. Throughout the growing season, you will be able to purchase fresh fruits, corn, okra, tomatoes, peppers, local honey, and a variety of other products.
The Madison County Farmer's Market is one of the oldest institutions still in business. It was started in the basement of the Madison County Courthouse in 1814.
