FLORENCE, AL (WAFF) - A former University of North Alabama football player has been arrested on a grand jury indictment for murder.
Police said Khadedryck Todd, of Florence, was arrested on indictments for murder, first-degree possession of marijuana and harassment.
According to court documents, Todd repeatedly hit and kicked Anthony Coleman in the head, causing Coleman's death. The murder was related to an incident five weeks earlier.
The incident between Todd and Coleman occurred on April 2, 2018.
Todd had also been charged with harassment of Alexis Murray, of Lauderdale Co.

The indictment was issued during last week's session of the Lauderdale County grand jury.
