(WAFF) - Officials made three arrests on drug charges last week.
Agents with the Madison-Morgan County High-Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) Task Force received information on April 18 that an Asian female was driving a white BMW with California tags in the Huntsville area with a large amount of marijuana.
The car was pulled over at a local hotel, where three occupants were identified as MiMi Chen, Eason Liu, and Peng Fei Len. Officers then located nine pounds of marijuana and approximately $5,700 in US currency.
The three were arrested on Wednesday on drug trafficking charges. They all have since been released.
