(WAFF) - Future aviators in Guntersville will have access to improved training equipment thanks to a donation.

The Advertiser-Gleam reports that Skip Dietz, a member of the city's Experimental Aircraft Association chapter, donated $750 to purchase the fuselage of an airplane.

The body of the plane will be used inside a new flight simulator the EAA chapter plans to build for students.

You can read more about the story on The Advertiser-Gleam website.

Dietz said his early introduction into flying is what led him to a career as a Navy pilot.
