TN man stabs relative in Walmart parking lot, police say

LAWRENCEBURG, TN (WAFF) - Police say a trip to Walmart in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee turned violent Thursday.
Officers with the Lawrenceburg Police Department were dispatched to reports of a possible stabbing at Walmart at 2130 North Locust Ave. Police determined three family members got into a verbal dispute in the parking lot, during which the two males got into a physical altercation. Police said one of the males stabbed the other with a knife multiple times then the parties fled the scene.
The victim went to a local hospital. His injuries were not life-threatening. Investigators spoke with him at the hospital, as well as witnesses from the parking lot.
The suspect was identified as Timothy Lee Storch, 54, of Lawrenceburg. Police detained him a short distance from the incident.
Storch was charged with one count of aggravated assault. He was booked into the Lawrence County Jail on a 10,000 bond.
