rue21 closing most locations in the Tennessee Valley

(WAFF) - The Pennsylvania-based clothing retailer rue21 announced over the weekend that it would be closing nearly 400 stores across the country.

The company made the announcement via Facebook on Saturday.

Rue21 has more than 1,200 stores across the United States.

This closure will shutter nearly a third of their brick-and-mortar stores nationwide, including most of their locations in the Tennessee Valley.
