An incarcerated Lawrence County man who walked off a work detail earlier this month has been captured in Colorado.
The Pueblo County Sheriff's Office took Austen Larry Williams, 28, into custody on Saturday.
Also taken into custody was Sandra Brooks, 38, who is believed to have helped Williams escape.
Williams was in jail on a possession of drug paraphernalia charge when disappeared from Lawrence County Maintenace Shop, his work assignment at the time.
The Town Creek man was reportedly at home doing yard work when deputies arrived and took him into custody.
Both Williams and Brooks were booked into the Pueblo County Detention Center on warrants from Alabama.
They remain in the Colorado facility pending extradition.
