(WAFF) - University Alabama linebacker Reuben Foster was reportedly sent home from the NFL Combine Friday after becoming combative with a hospital worker during a routine physical.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Foster, who is considered a possible top-10 pick, engaged in a "heated altercation" after a "miscommunication" allowed the argument between them to escalate.

Schefter detailed the incident on Facebook:

MMQB's Robert Klemko added a few additional details on Twitter, including Foster playing the "Don't you know who I am?" card.

Initial reports stated that Foster was being sent home for "personal reasons." Instead of going ahead with team interviews Friday night and performing with the linebackers on Saturday, Foster boarded a flight home to Tuscaloosa.

Foster has not commented on the incident.
