MORGAN COUNTY, AL (WAFF) - A former Calhoun Community College employee is facing felony charges for theft and ethics law violation.

62-year-old Marilyn Radford of Decatur was arrested on Wednesday following an indictment by a Morgan County grand jury.

Radford, who once worked as the treasurer of the Alabama Community College System, allegedly stole more than $2,500 from the ACCS.

The indictment also charges Radford with violating state ethics law by using her position as treasurer for personal gain.

Radford worked as a Management Information Systems Assistant at Calhoun Community College.

Radford could spend 20 years in prison if found guilty of the Class B felonies.
