Kim's Kids: River has a love for stuffed animals and the arts
HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) - Five-year-old River has amazing attention to detail.
On a recent visit to Early Works Museum, this animal lover meticulously grouped each of the stuffed animals there according to breed.
"I didn't want them to be lonely. So they would have some friends to play with," River said.
She also has a menagerie of pets at home.
Even though she may appear shy and soft-spoken to strangers, her mom says she can be quite loud.
"Two cats, one dog, two birds, two tortoises, hmm what else do we have?" she said as she counted her collection of animals.
River's favorite color is pink, and she aspires to be an artist when she gets older.
She says her hero is her mommy.
At home, she has no problem keeping herself entertained. She likes playing with her older sibling, but says she wishes she had a Big Sister. Having a mentor would give her an opportunity to bond with someone different and have someone to do fun things with.
