HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) - Former exotic dancers of the Vision's Gentleman's Club in Huntsville are demanding back pay. They've filed a federal lawsuit against the owners of the club, VGC Inc.

Court documents state that the former dancers are both Madison County residents and were both employed at Vision's between 2013 and 2016. The dancers claim in the lawsuit that they were required to tip hourly or non-tipped employees, such as bouncers, managers and disc jockeys. They said If they refused to tip them, they were fired.

The dancers also claim they had to pay penalty fees if they missed a shift or left early before their shift was over. They also say dancers were required to pay a room charge to use the club's VIP room to give private dances to patrons.

The lawsuit states that the two former employees are filing the lawsuit on behalf of all exotic dancers who worked at Vision's in the past three years.

A Vision's manager said during a phone conversation that he wasn't aware of the lawsuit and the company has yet to receive an official copy of it.
