HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) - It's a video you have to see to believe adults allegedly giving this baby, alcohol.
"I'm very disappointed parents think that is okay," said Huntsville resident Akalyn Garvin. The viral video is reaching almost 70,000 views and met with tons of backlash and a police investigation.

"You have to be 21 to drink. A baby can't handle that," said Garvin. Many viewers say giving a baby alcohol is a medical remedy, but others like Akalyn Garvin, say seeing this video is flat out wrong. "That's not okay," said Garvin.
Doctors at Crestwood Medical Center in Huntsville say no matter what the reason is, babies and alcohol don't mix.
"In the short term they're at risk for alcohol toxicity which can cause respiratory distress and gastrointestinal problems," said Kristina Morris, Nurse Practitioner at Crestwood Medical Center and as for Garvin, she says parents have to be more careful what they post.
"This is 2016 not the old days, you got to get over it. It doesn't work anymore. It's not the same," said Garvin.
Authorities believe the video was taken in Louisiana and they've called Louisiana Family Services to see if they're concerned about the welfare of the child.
