MORGAN COUNTY, AL (WAFF) - Morgan County Sheriff Ana Franklin reports that a man brought into the county jail on Thursday tried to bring in 11 grams of methamphetamine.
Gatlyn Christopher Walls, 23, was brought in on an outstanding warrant early Thursday. When he was searched during booking, a detention officer found he had two plastic baggies containing a crystal substance believed to be meth, Franklin said. A drug agent field-tested the substance and confirmed it as meth.
Walls was subsequently charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute. Bond was set at $5,000.
