3 arrested in armed robbery at Huntsville Subway

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) - Huntsville police confirm three people are in custody from a robbery at Subway Tuesday morning,

According to police, two men wearing masks robbed the Subway at 414 Jordan Ln. at gunpoint. Police say they fled on foot, jumping the fence behind the restaurant.

The co-owner said one of the gunmen held a gun to his head, and the other pointed a gun at a woman's car window in the drive-thru.

"He showed pistol to him and he just put hands up and opened the register and they took all the money," said co-owner Saumi Patel, "I feel lucky and he not shoot for me and he trying to shoot for my customer too."

Three males were later arrested in connection with the robbery according to police. They were arrested at the Huntsville Park Church of Christ parking lot on Triana Boulevard and Ivy Avenue after an officer saw their car matched the description.

Huntsville police identified the suspects as Evan Dension, 21, and Michael Ferguson, 22. The third suspect arrested is 17 years old.

All three are charged with robbery.
