Florence attorney facing additional human trafficking charges

FLORENCE, AL (WAFF) - A Florence attorney who was arrested in May is now facing additional human trafficking charges.

Edward Ray Dillard was originally charged with 11 counts of human trafficking, one count of sexual abuse, one count of intimidating a witness and two counts of making terrorist threats.

Wednesday, three counts of human trafficking, two counts of bribing a witness and two counts of destruction of evidence were added.

Dillard has 30 days to file any pre-arraignment motion challenging the indictment.

He is set to go to trial on December 12.
