Madison PD arrest man responsible for weekend apartment shooting

MADISON, AL (WAFF) - Madison police arrested the suspect in a shooting at a Madison apartment complex.

On Sunday, June 26, police responded to a shooting at Carrington Cove Apartments. There they found a vehicle that had been shot multiple times with an uninjured person inside, but no suspect.

Police later obtained an arrest warrant for 29-year-old Lawrence Oneal Beasley of Huntsville for attempted murder, and he was detained by Huntsville police Thursday night while in Huntsville and then transferred over to MPD.

Beasley was booked in the Madison County Jail on a $60,000 bond. The case is under investigation and he could face more charges.
