DECATUR, AL (WAFF) - Nine men in Decatur are facing multiple charges this morning after they were all arrested during a drug bust at a home on Faye Street.
Their arrests come months after the Decatur Police received complaints about possible illegal drug activity and gambling.
On Tuesday officers and a SWAT executed a search warrant at the home and they found spice, marijuana, prescription pills, and drug sale paraphernalia along with a shotgun and an AK-47.
Elbert Anderson is charged with possession of a controlled substance, loitering. Anderson was booked at the Decatur City Jail and transferred to the Morgan County Jail with a $3,000 bond.
Jerry Rankin is charged with loitering and carrying a concealed weapon-brass knuckles. Rankin was booked at the Decatur City Jail and transferred to the Morgan County Jail with a $1,000 bond.
Jacies Vaughn, Terry Harris, Jurion Johnson, Marlon Swinney, Rockale Slaughter, Justin Pickens and Benjamin Tatum were all charged with loitering and were all booked at the Decatur City Jail and transferred to the Morgan County Jail with $500 bonds.
