Suspects in 2015 home invasion indicted on capital murder charges

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) - All four suspects in the Markia Kendal murder case were indicted on capital murder charges.

Kendal was found shot inside his home in the 2200 block of Norwood Drive in north Huntsville in January 2015.

Artavious Juanes Crutcher, Latransezon Tremaine Malloy, and Cordell Lamont Derrick were first arrested and charged late 2015.

The fourth suspect, Trolando Watkins, was arrested later for the same home invasion and was also charged with capital murder.

Investigators say the four men forced their way into Kendall's home and shot him.

Kendal's children were in the home when their father was killed.

No trial date has been set for the four suspects.
