PRICEVILLE, AL (WAFF) - Authorities are searching for a man who robbed the Family Security Credit Union on Highway 67 in Priceville on Wednesday.

Priceville Investigator Billy Peebles says around 12:40 p.m. a man came into the bank and handed the teller a note demanding money. The teller gave him the money and he walked out.

Workers at JW Steakhouse told investigators a man parked his vehicle in their lot while only employees were at the restaurant, Investigators say surveillance video shows the man running to the parking lot and then out of view.

Peebles says they will release surveillance pictures from inside the credit union if they determine help is needed from the public to find the suspect.

Crews with Priceville Police Department and crime scene investigators with the Decatur Police Department are investigating.
