Athens man charged after crack cocaine found in home

An Athens man is facing drug charges after police say they found crack cocaine at his home on Acorn Hill Circle.
Limestone County Sheriff's narcotics investigators arrested 55-year-old Valentino Houston on Thursday morning after executing a search warrant at his home where they found 2.3 grams of crack cocaine, $1,378 cash, and a .380 caliber pistol.
Houston is charged with possession of a controlled substance.
He is currently being held in the Limestone County Jail on $2,500 bond.
