(WAFF) - Changes are in the works for deer hunting season in Alabama that could lead to more time for hunters in tree stands.
The Alabama Conservation Advisory Board recommended extending the gun deer season from November 19 until February 10, 2017.
The only thing that could hold up the change is if the Game Check harvest reporting system makes it through the legislative review process.
